With the specific email tool in Nestor you can send emails to other members of the course without using an external program. You can send emails to individual members or to groups, but do keep in mind that the email you send will not be saved on Nestor.
You can send an email to the following users:
All users
All groups
All teaching assistant users
All student users
All instructor users
All observer users
Single / select users
Single / select groups
Single / select observers
N.B. the receivers of the email won’t see the email addresses of other receivers.
How to send an email?
Go to Course Tools, which can be found under Course Management
Click on Send Email
Select the receiver
Fill in the subject (without subject, the email will not be sent)
Write a message
If you check Return Receipt, you will receive a copy of the email
If you want to attach a file. Click Attach a file and select the document. It’s also possible to send multiple files.
Click Submit
